About the open slot that becomes available. Shouldn't there be a wait list upon who posted to be in the list here first? Not everyone can be in front of the PC 24 hours a day to see openings immediately.

Perhaps that would be a more efficient way to line up for spots, but I believe that it may be too ate for most to give up their spot. In this case there would only be a very small amount of spots to be on a wait list for.
 
I don't know if I'm in the 1st batch of 20 that was shipped, I'm kind of far down on the signup list. But, I was wondering who these will be shipped with, i.e. UPS, FedEx, or USPS? It'll give me an idea as to the time of day to expect it, when it does ship. FedEx will wake me up, banging on the door, in a.m. UPS pulls up as I'm getting in my car to go work (on a good day), or shortly after I leave for work (on a bad day). & the post office will get here whenever the hell they feel like it... or later.
Either way, I'm happy these have begun to ship, & I can't wait to start this build.

I would think unless the first 20 paid immediately that he may have meant the first 20 that paid. Has anyone gotten word theirs has shipped? I would guess he would tell us as he shipped them but due to the number of orders I would understand if he didn't.
 
i paid my invite pretty much IMMEDIATELY after I received the e-mail. Now I have no idea if I was i the first batch or not, but I haven't received any shipping info, so I am going to assume not.

I'm in the same boat. Sent a PM yesterday asking about that and I haven't heard anything yet. *fingers crossed*
 
I would guess he is probably busy trying to get them all out, I would guess the ones from the first batch are going to start arriving at some people's doors fairly soon! :)
 
Whew! I feel better knowing I'm not the only one that jumped on PayPal ASAP and was also wondering if they were in the first batch. Dan must be super busy and hasn't seen any of our posts and PM's.
