I open A LOT of D-rings and I find the nylon pliers far too smooth. My best solution so far is by wrapping the plier beaks with small pieces of duct tape! That gives it enough friction to bend them easily.

I totally read that wrong Roy I got ya now! So just wrap duct tape around the pliers. Stupid question

You wrap it backwards so the sticker side is out? Or conventional?
