And yes, the gap between the bottom of the saber body and the pommel should be there.

What MPP parts are you going to have? Just the shrouds?

If you're going to have clamps available maybe I'll do a run of Barbican Vader sabers in the not too distant future.

I've wanted one BAD... I love the Barbican... I love the awesomeness of the sh%tty sabers... Vader MOM ROTJ is the best.

Spent several hours today trying to stitch together reference images to start making the paint stencils. Other areas are close but the sizing and spacing is still off. I won't be able to get everything sized and fit correctly until later, when I have all the missing pieces done. But for now here's how it's going. Once I get closer, I'll create a signup sheet in its own thread to order a set of these. I'd also like to wait until I have mine in hand so I can verify everything is perfect and to offer some photo instructions on applying the paint masks.

I'm starting with the shroud in aluminium, complete with correct wrinkle paint, thumb screw and D-ring. Next is the bulb release assembly. A real nice clamp replica is already available on TCSS, at least that's what I heard, so no need to create those.

For the time being but you and everyone else knows that you can do a better job.;)

Consolidate everything under House Gilsing; that is a banner I would proudly wave.

I have received my lightsaber and its great. I just wonder if I'm wrong in that the included D-ring seems a bit small.

Didn't ask since I didn't try to put it on the pommel yet.

I went with 3/4" because to my eye, that is the closest to the original prop. Plus, that appear to be what was on the original OWK hero. But, our references aren't great, so it would be interesting to see what 1" looks like if you want to try it.

I was thinking the same thing. In most of the reference pics the d-ring clearly goes just beyond the bottom of the pommel. I'm betting it's a 1". Not that big of a deal to me. I wouldn't even know where to get one the right size and shape.
