So you have seen the great OT thread about Leia's pms and Yoda's food, and another about SW misconceptions. Maybe we tend to overthink SW.

Here are some realizations we perhaps never made:


6. Luke falls 18000000 feet in ESB and lives because he landed on a slide.

I was under the impression that Luke was vacuumed/sucked into that waste tube. With the bends and twists in it translating his downward velocity into a sideways velocity which is bled off by the friction of his touching/rubbing against the sides of the tube.

Ha. I can think of something else that would be bled off sliding down a tube a hundred miles per hour. :lol

Def. makes sense in universe, but I sure hells wouldn't try it, ha.
