I understand, but I'm also very familiar with the Falcon and all it's incarnations and I've never seen any model that was sculpted.
Maybe pieces of the set like the rounded beige wall panels or the circular couch? I'd believe the couch was sculpted and cast. The cushion indentations remind me a bit of the styling of C-3PO.
I'd be happy to help with pics, but I don't know what to look for.
Maybe the plasterer could be more specific about what he and Liz worked on for the Falcon.
When making a large construction you have to have a model to work with to form templates as you can't just construct it blindly.
There is no other way of clarifying the fact that he said that Liz sculpted the model of the Millenium Falcon in clay and he moulded and cast it.
The circular couch you talk about was originally sculpted in clay by Arthur Healey who also sculpted the chest plate on CZ3. He had sculpted one side of the couch square and the other side radiated. I was then asked to correct his work by radiating the squared edge when he left the film after 2 weeks. Arthur was my old mentor but that is another story....................
