Lost Clan Pred feet

I'm in process of doing my second suit, 1st in the "Completed Suit Thread",
and deceided to try my hand at sculpting, molding and casting. All prior tests
have worked well. So I began sculpting my feet for said suit. I thought that
I might get a little critique prior to molding. Please, I would like your .02!

Thank you all for the kind compliments!
As for sculpting for lift additions, no they
are not sculpted to allow for lifts. I stand
6' 1" barefooted, once done, with all suit
pieces in place, I'm estimating that I'll
appear to be approx. 7' - 7' 1" tall. Thanx
for asking though! o_O

they look great!! they are some very original and crazy looking feet. are you going to mold the spikes seperately? those are some pretty crazy undercuts.
as for height, if you're 6'1, i was wondering how you're going to hit 7'1 without lifts? i'm 6'6 barefoot and i can only hit 7'1 in costume with about 3-4 inches of lift in my feet. is there a way to gain a foot of height without using lifts that i don't know about??

yeah dude how are you gonna be a whole foot taller than what you are if your not using lifts huh?

doesnt make sense to me

sounds like some miscalculation

Actually gentlemen, I said "appear", not be! You guys are right,
with pred head on it only gives me another 6", that's 6' 7" and
with the cannon and other accutremants, I should "appear" to be
7' - 7' 1". It's an optic illusion, how the human eye trains to the
highest point of refferance. Kinda like how some people take into
account the extra inches, the ears, when measuring a dog. Lol.

Thank you for all the kind compliments!
No, I will not be molding the spikes seperately.
Indeed it will make the process a little more
difficult, but I would rather have it a solid piece
versus attachments that can come loose.
Thanx for reading!

Hey Dudes... look it's the Shredder..... Cowabunga.....! lol sorry... I couldn't resist. Those look great, now that is an original design, but yo might want to make the blades in resin and attach them to the feet. Even with latex small tight undercuts like those can be issues...

i knew those looked familiar! i looked into building a shredder suit a few years ago, that's why i could have sworn i'd seen these before. good luck on the molding, looking forward to seeing the first pull.

:) Shredder...I was afraid someone would potentially see that in it!
Actually it's my interpitation of a sketch I found here, can't remeber where
to find now. But a female member that had done some of the concept
drawings for Predator:Concrete Jungle videogame had posted up some
of her drawings. One of them was of an albino hermit pred of sorts, lots
of spikes and blades....what can I say, I thought it was quite cool.

So if I did cast them in resin seperately, would it be smart to at least
sculpt a type of socket for it to fit into? And what type of adhesive would
you guys reccomend to ensure a strong bond?

Ok, what about these? A little more like the concept art instead of
what I had originally done.

Made other subtle changes that aren't quite as obvious as the blade removal.

Thanx for reading!

those look great, i actually like them a lot better than the first sculpt. much less shredder-esque and will be much easier to mold too. great improvement :)
