Looking for a Rebel Pilot chin cup strap

Working on my first Rebel Helmet...where could I find a strap for the chin cup? And where exactly are they supposed to be anchored in the helmet?....placement wise?

Elastic strap any fabric store would carry.

Here's some pix of the Rogue 1 helmet.
Pretty much the same as the OT helmets accept being able to adjust them.
