Good choice for The Boss, though.I was trying not be to Floyd-centric but frankly everything they did from Meddle onward qualifies here.

The funniest thing to me about making my list is that I am a huge extreme/death metal fan, and that none of that stuff made it. It takes up about 80% of my collection (and it's a pretty big collection). ***insert it's terrible music comment here***:lol

Seriously, I could have put down about 10 different Springsteen albums! Born To Run is my go-to but I love Nebraska as well. I've been having a ball plowing through all the material on the 6 disc Darkness On The Edge of Town reissue - it's incredible how good the discarded cuts from that era are.
Yeah, he took the best tunes and made the greatest rock album of all time. And the stuff that didn't make the cut is still some of the best tunes/musical ideas I've ever heard.
