Lightsaber On/Off button help needed

Hi all. I goofed. I bought this switch for my Random Sabers Hilt:

Gold Plated Momentary Switch

It'll look totally amazing with the hilt except that it's a momentary button and not a latching button. For those that don't know (like I didn't) a momentary button only works as long as you hold it.

I need to find either the exact same button built as a latching button so it can work an on/off button for my LED saber or something as close to it in size as possible.

This is my Random Saber: Killswitch

I get the difference between the two types of switches and I've been looking, but I don't understand all the terminology and nomenclature I'm seeing on the internet.

But this place has tons of switches and it looks like they're even configurable, so it seems like they'd be able to give you what you want. I'd give them a call.

Thanks!

This place might just do the trick.
Sure...been looking and reading for over an hour. I guess the term (or one of them) for the type of switch you want is "latching" but didn't have much luck searching for that. Finally I stumbled onto this place. But I'd call and explain exactly what you want rather than just trying to place an online order. I bookmarked it myself for future reference. :)

If you go to their home page (e-switch.com), there's a nice image of all their different types of anti-vandal push button switches...lots of variety and options.

Doesn't TCSS have the same button in silver?
Maybe, perhaps, if we are lucky, the internals from a silver latching button could be transplanted into a gold one. Perhaps someone on TCSS's forum has openend one and could tell more.

Just a thought.

The PV2 and PV6 are the right size but they are momentary only, not latching. Back to the drawing board there.
