Ah 'simulated' I see now, read through your post too quickly lol. That's a super cool idea because you can make it permanent, something to try at some point. You could also attach a rod to the end of the graflex and make it like the stunt prop if you were willing to simulate a large enough area.Sculpt in whatever substrate you want (slices of wood built up in tiers; hole drilled / cut in the center for the saber to easily slide in and out of?); coat with Plaster of Paris, finish with a layer of what you feel best represents snow, and Bob's your uncle.

I’ve seen on done up in the snow before, they carved the base out of styrofoam.. trying to find it now
