Light Kits?

I looked around but didn't see anything resembling a definitive thread on light kits.

I'm working on the entire line of Infinity Stone props including the Infinity Orb (Guardians of the Galaxy), The Aether (Thor: The Dark World), Tesseract (Avengers), and Loki's Scepter (which may or may not be the Mind Stone). All of them require lighting independent of a cord.

Each represents it's own challenges, obviously. With the Aether, you've got room for a huge battery pack. With the Orb, maybe a AAA or two.

Does anyone have recommendations, links, definitive threads, etc on where to purchase or how to construct lighting kits for props?

Leds would be the way to fly. Depending on what your requirements are the circuits can get involved. Sometimes you're better off gutting it from another product, like kids toys or the like.
