Don't get me wrong, it's absolutely gorgeous, but for almost a grand, I'd need to have a working countdown and possibly sound effects.

Sound effects? Sorry but they are the "ghey" and will never sound like a "real pulse rifle" being fired. It'd sound cheesy so why bother?

And people wanting light effects too? Good god people! You're ruining a work of art here! Of course it's your money.

Yup, lights and sound effects seem lame to me. If I had to fight off an army of shadows it might be useful, otherwise, I can live without.

I myself am not opposed to lights or sounds, I'm just opposed to lights and sounds done poorly. If you watch my review of the Master Replicas Star Trek Assault Phaser, the sound effects are the one element I criticize the most.

I'm serious, if I could recycle the sound effect every time I pulled the trigger, I'd still have that phaser along with a lot of other replicas I've collected.

For me, if it had sound, it would have to have one "motha" of a sound system to keep it from sounding like a toy and more like it did in the movies, (which of coarse is impossible anyway being that the sound was added in later), so why bother.

Thats why im tempted to buy one, to add the metal shroud to my current PFC build.

With so many people really digging the metal shrouds and wishing to gut the HGC PR for it, I wonder how many FS threads we will see in the following months once this ships? :lol

And Eagle - Everytime you post pics of your Pulse, makes me want one even more.
