Sadly, even with the six-month payment option I still will not be able to afford this item:cry
I have a Dell and Zales account I am paying on - if I were not, I would surely be able to buy one of these....
I suppose my only option for the future would be one of those upgrade kits that can be fitted over a Thompson replica. At that point, I would do what Plecter Labs had done and add the digital counter (that works) and sound FX....

Erv is to busy building CF5 boards to get any BlasterCores done. But your correct. These need BlasterCores installed for sure!

I have wanted one for many years, but I am a bit turned off about the non-working counter and the lack of any sound FX.
I suppose you could look at it that the lack of those qualities makes it closer to the original filming prop....but lets be honest here, anyone wanting one of these would surley prefer to pull that trigger and have SOMETHING happen!
I might have to start selling my body to afford one....

You can always take it apart and do an upgrade , my pulse rifle counts down when the trigger is pulled and resets back to 95 once the clip is reinserted ,as the trigger is pulled the barrel flashes as it is counting down... you can always change the circuit board to a replicant fx board or Hyperdyne Labs cicuit ,its a pain to do but it can be done................:thumbsup

I had a replicantFX board in my PR that I sold. It was a great system and affordable at about $120. I hope he starts his business back up as the HGC PR needs some spfx. But that is just my opinion. After sending off my PR I'm getting bitten by the bug for another!

I received a UPS notice on the 5th stating that electronic billing info had been sent. I just tried tracking it again and the PR is on its way! Show's a delivery date of August 13th. So I guess a lot of us will be receiving this by the end of the week.
