What would "Terminator 2" be like if it was Sylvester Stallone? In the movie "Last Action Hero", we get a glimpse, Danny Madigan takes Jack Slater into a video store and we see Stallone instead.
"The Cybermen" from Dr Who, originally from Mondas, a twin planet to Earth, they were a dying race, so Mondasians decided to "upgrade" their entire bodies, like "transhumanism", becoming cybernetically augmented humanoids, without the need of emotions.
"Cyborg" from Justice League, another example of a human becoming a machine, (for the purpose of this post, we'll ignore the differences between the comics and movies).
"Major Motoko Kusanagi" from Ghost In The Shell. "Major" was human, when she died her brain and spinal cord were put inside a cybernetic body.
There is the "alternate" version, her spirit/soul is in the machine, hence the title. A lot of fans hated the Hollywood movie because of "whitewashing", so for the purpose of this post, I've added the anime version too.
"Max" from Flight Of The Navigator. "Max" is the computer/robotic pilot that commands a Trimaxion Drone Ship from the planet Phaelon. "Max" is part of the spaceship, so altogether a "robot".
