Let's talk about CHUCK. Spoilers through end of season four!

Who left an Intersect for Chuck though? I saw in his box a note that said "For Chuck" or something like that, but you don't see who it was from. Also wouldn't Beckman get fired for letting them use her ID?

It was General Beckman.

The note said "For Chuck, from General Beckman".

As for Chuck and the intersect, well, Chuck got he intersect back from his dad's laptop. Ellie has the laptop. They'll make it harder than it needs to be i'm guessing, but it should be able to restored the same way.

I have to give credit to the producers for moving the show another step forward. I enjoyed the finale a whole lot. Though I suspect the CIA will be freezing their assets next season.

I must admit I'm a little sick of Chuck losing the intersect and then getting it back. The CIA having those intersect sunglasses is not my favorite thing ever. Really though, it's a fun action comedy. I loved what they did with Timothy Dalton this season. It allowed him to play a fun range of scenes, and he ended his run on the show (maybe) in style.

Not sure if anyone caught this but in the episode (or two) before the finale, when they had to go rescue Chucks mom, Linda Hamilton was in
her cell and she was re-enactring her scene from Terminator 2. She had
her bed up on end, doing pull ups. Thought thatv was a nice touch.

This show is great for adding little tid bits from other shows and movies.

To bad the upcoming season will be the last! :cry

With the exception of Brandon Routh and Kristen Kruek, this show has had
some great characters and guest stars in it.

Yeah I thought that was a good nod to T2. Who said the next season will be the last?

Saw it on AICN as well as other online news sources.

Season 5 will be the last and will consist of 13 episodes.
(as of that posting).

Every year chuck has been renewed, it has been renewed for 13 episodes with the possibility of more of it does good enough. They've gotten the additional order ever year. It one reason there haven't been many/any 'filler' episodes the last 2-3 years. They're fitting the story in a smaller arc, and when they've got it done, get the order for more, so, new story arc. More or less.

I hope that next season isn't the last. But even if it is I will just be glad to have that. I keep expecting them to pull the plug on it, like all of the other good shows.

Wouldn't surprise if it's a pure sydnication decision. They moved it to death night - friday night - and said it's the last season and only renewed for 13 episodes. Seeing as it's only been on 4 years, my guess is they're sitting around 87ish episodes and the 13 more put it over the magic 100 which seems to be a big sydnication number.

Pessimistic? Maybe, but we're talking network execs here and a (more or less) sci-fi show.

They'll be up to 89 with this order, I believe. A back season pickup of 11 episodes - similar to what the show's received each year since the second - would give it an even 100. NBC won't really care if the show hits that magic syndication number or not though, as they don't produce the show and they don't stand to profit from it.
