Legio Custodes-The Horus Heresy (Warhammer 40K)

Thanks a lot !

I'm really sorry for the lack of news, I'm a bit busy with my eldar build (should I start a thread about him too ? It's my most detailled project so far).

My next update will probably be about the shield.

If it's more detailed than THIS I'm sure we'd all love to see it! You have an amazing talent with foam! Can't wait to see the finished product! Looking very impressive so far...

Magnifique, quel travail! C'est tellement détaillé je suis impressionné. Bravo!!!!!!!!
J'ai hâte devoir des photos de l'ensemble terminé.

*300 years later*

I went back to this project like...two days ago. So here is the current state of my vexilla:

I still need to work on the pole and some minor details.

Now I want to make one I don't think I have 300 years to spare... well done..
Thanks !

Now that my Visarch is done,

back to this guy.

Since I started working on it in March 2017, and I was even worse at building things than I am today, the proportions are basically ****.

So I did it the simple way:

As you can see, he is not much taller than me (it's a human-scaled build because I want to be able to fight heretics), but MUCh MUCH wider.

I noticed how thin my legs armor were compared to the rest (basically my giant pauldrons), so I started building a larger version of my shin guards and feet (the older version is on the right).

The shins are free-handed, the foot pattern was based on a modified SM pep file (JF's custom foam files). I can't wait to add the eagle and all the details
