LEDs: 7000 mcd, 5mm -- how do I power them?

So I have 50 of these LEDs, 7000 mcd, 5mm. I'd like to string a few (or all) of them together into a power source that I can plug into the wall. Can someone point me to how to do this? What kind of resistors do I need? What power source? I'd also like the power source to feed a small aquarium air pump, or something similar.

Google is giving me too many crap pages to filter out.

Thanks!

You need a transformer that will carry the load so figure how many you need to connect in series to match the voltage of the dc power supply you have add up the milliamps and determine what size of a power supply you need. Most fish pumps are plug into the wall.
Best bet is to find say a 5v power supply (wall wart) find out how many leds add up to 5 v at say 1.3v each you can daisy chain 4 together and get them to burn. Next you will wire the groups of 4 in parallel and this is where you need to figure how many milliamps they will pull buy adding them up.
This will help

Thanks very much! This might be impossible to answer, but how do I find the Voltage and Current? All I know is it's 7000 mcd and 5mm. :lol

The company you purchased them from should have or should be able to provide you with this information...

Without knowing the forward current and voltage they best that can be done is an educated stab in the dark on wiring them... Chances are good it will be a close enough stab, but it would still be a guess...

What color are the LEDs? As this also helps with the educated guess if you can't get the proper information...

Got them off ebay. :unsure I'll try to contact the seller if he's still there.

And they're blue. It was cheap, so if I burn them out, no big deal--I'll just buy quality ones next time. This is more a less to become more familiar with LED wiring so I can light up eyes for some props.

This was copied from a current auction. This may be what you have. These were listed as blue 7000 mcd 5mm LED's.
