The mold is drying on the buckle. With any luck this will turn into a run starting next week.

Just a quick update on what's happening. As I mentioned, this was a collaborative project with a local leather worker and he has decided to move on to other projects. However, I have learned how to work with leather in the time that I began putting this together and I am confident that I can still offer this run. In addition, I'll be doing this a little differently in order to make the stitching more accurate and the belt less heavy. That's the good news. The bad news is that this is going to be a one man show now and I have to ramp up to get the leather and supplies to get this going so it may still be a couple of weeks out. Thanks for your patience everyone.

Another quick update. Purchasing a few things today and going to try and knock out another prototype (we'll call it "prototype 2.0" ) this week. As I mentioned, I'm trying out a thinner leather so the belt isn't so heavy, but still solid (no fake leathers) and tighter, thinner stitching. If I'm happy and you're happy with the results, I'll start taking down payments. The belts will be worked on a first pay, first served basis. Since I am doing this solo and it's hand made, I think I will only be able to reasonably make two a week, and that includes kits.

I know it is early in the game but put me down for those boot covers too :wacko FYI am using the same motorcycle pants from your Star Lord thread so slowly but surely a cool near screen accurate Star Lord costume to come.

Okay, got the leather and did a test piece. Very happy with the results. Still needs a little tweak on the pattern, but I'm liking it. Ignore the buckle, it's a place holder, but I'd like your feedback on what changes you would make! The stitching on the right (darker) has a light amount of dye applied to weather it, stitching on the left is untouched.
