I've been able to improve on casting the rings which allows me to lower the cost of them and also allows me to lower the cost of the completed belt. The completed belt is now only $215 and the kit on $140 and the rings $20. If you've purchased the rings from me already, I've "price matched" them for you and refunded the difference.

Please update your list when time permits. My apologies for the late deposit payment but just paid for 2 qty minus the belt buckles. NOTE: If the other metal belt buckles we bought here do not work i may need to buy 2 belt buckles from you to finish this off. Thanks and we are looking forward to your holsters.

Hi please update your list to show that i am interested in 2 qty DIY version complete belts with the belt buckles too. Did not want to tinker with the metal belt buckles we purchased. The updated finished product pic looks beautiful. My son have been asking and can't wait
I know you are up to your neck on the belts. Cannot wait to see mock pics of the holster pads too. That will keep you busy too for sure.

First belt has shipped and the second is ready to go! I'm a little ahead of schedule, so I might be able to get started on the January belts the last week of December.

Okay! Good news and bad news.
First, the bad news:
Westies was my first recipient and I realize that I made a GRAVE error in the wording of PMs I sent to everyone. In the message I sent, I said "waist SIZE" and what I meant was "waist MEASUREMENT". Needless to say, his belt didn't fit him. Otherwise, the impression I got was that he liked the belt very much (and I'll let him speak to that). He also asked that the belt be a bit thicker. My initial reasoning for making the belt with thinner leather was so that the belt itself wasn't to heavy. I'm going to go ahead and make the base of the belt thicker and use the thinner leather for the accent pieces going forward. Now, I had a design in mind to make the back look nicer, but I'm going to scrap that idea so that the belt has the best adjust ability and will hold better, because the back of the belt will ultimately be covered by the coat anyway.
Now, the good news:
I haven't gotten any of the other belts out yet and I'm going to go ahead and get these changes implemented with no extra cost to anyone.
More bad news (maybe):
I need to get my January buyers squared away and this may put me into February. There is no way for me to know for sure, but this may delay me a bit. I ask that if you NEED the belt for an upcoming con, that you take a look at the list and reach out to someone ahead of you and see if you can swap. I'm going to work as fast as I can, but there are a couple of extra steps I need to get done in order to get up to speed and make sure everyone gets a good quality belt.
If there are ANY questions or concerns, please reach out to me by PM and thanks again!
