latex body suit?

hi guys, as i prepare to embark on the mammoth saving i need to do for my pred suit i pondered the heat inside the latex suit. i really do overheat in costume and just wearing my boba fett or stormtrooper tends to really spin me out. ive considered a way to get round this and thought that maybe wearing an undersuit with the cooling system attatched as i believe trik toyz offer may be an option. the only thing i was concerned about is weather it would be possible to wear and leave enough room for the body suit. if anyone could help or has any suggestions id be grateful. ive decided to go for the full mask so just wearing a helmet wouldnt be an option as i want to have the animatronic mandibles. mmmmmmm pipe dream i know but if i can eradicate the concerns then its full steam ahead...........cheers guys, justin

I thought about wearing some sort of cooling suit under my costume, but after trying it (the costume) on, there is no way I'll be able to wear much of anything extra under the latex bits. I'll be lucky if I can manage some sort of undersuit. :D

If you leave room in your latex suit (by using a larger duct tape dummy/mannequin or whatever method) you can use one of those cooling vests mascots wear. Or what I did is I put little pockets in (like where the muscles where) and put refreezable ice packs in them for my werewolf. It worked wonders for me!

well ive looked around and found a number of diffefent vest and body cooling systems......i really dont know how some of you guys in hotter climes manage to stay alive in costume. there is a whole host of things to use, someone on my forum is contemplating making a vest in which cold water is pumped round tubes that are sewn to a skin tight lycra undersuit similiar to or the same as we use when trooping as stormies. other methods and i have been in touch with the guys who ill be ordering from allow for a cool vest and this can be taken into consideration when the suit is being made and measurements being taken.
if i wear a vest i can give the accurate measurements with the vest space being considered. apparently the cool vest can last for a good amount of time before a quick minutes recharge freezes the gel again. it is gel rather than water that i guess is the same as the gel found in cool box blocks.......anyhoo its imperative i have this or i will just melt away never to be seen again......
