Hey guys! I put my Krang build on the back burner and decided to slam out a down and dirty foam Mandalorian build so I could watch The Force Awakens in costume. From start to finish, it took me 2 weeks. I've been working about 56 hrs a week at my day job so I sacrificed sleep and every waking moment on the weekends to pull this off.
Drawing inspiration from SWTOR, I made a Power Tech type flame thrower gauntlet first using Expo dry erase markers as the flame throwers.

The red button turns the lights on and off allowing me to hide the battery pack inside the tiered section of the gauntlet.

Next came the shoulder bells.

Then the chest plate

Belt w/ pouches, more foam and craft foam.

Mocked in place on a plaster dummy.

Ab plate, shin guards, shoulders, knees, and cod piece made ready for plastidip.

My favorite part of this costume is something I didnt make. I purchased a kit lid from Mynock's Den. I absolutely love this helmet. It was the first pull he sold and I was lucky enough to get it. I cut out the center and installed the visor using a replacement face mask shield that can be purchased from any decent hardware store. I used "chicago screws" to mount the visor.

Everything made, now time to mask and paint!

I added some string stitched into the belt to try to give it a leather feel.

Obligatory selfie before heading out to the movie theatre!

I wish I could say I planned it, but it was co-incidence that I was watching Episode 7 in theatre number 7 at 7pm

After the movie, I had to stroll around the mall a bit.
