Laser cut props: What would you want made?

If anyone is near Seattle, Metrix Create Space has a very active community, nice laser cutters and lots of sewing gear. I make badges there once a year on 3mm birch, it runs $400-600 for 150 or so badges.

They also have a pick and place machine and board mills, if you're making runs of custom circuits.

They're of course aware of the issues with halogens.

They use a very thin solvent for multi-layer plastic items, with skill and very clean working conditions you can laminate clear plastics and they look very nice.

I just heard about "makerspace" today and looked up the Metrix Create Space. Seems like a cool spot but I'd like to maybe chat someone up that has been there a few times. Very interested in the PCB class as I'd love to make a few boards for my kino's. Having a place that can print and cut PCB's would be awesome. Also love the 3d print and laser cutting options would be sweet too. Sewing might be nice but the other items would be much more helpful.

If you're local, just show up and chat with the help behind the counter. They're open noon to midnight. I can answer plenty of questions as I've been there for many hours, but I haven't taken any classes.

Yup, I live in West Seattle. I'm sure the people behind the counter will help out but more likely feed the dog. i'd maybe rather chat with people that have used it and hear the good and bad. From what I can see it's a lot of good and only bad is the costs. But overall it seems awesome. Love to take a class to learn how to make pcb's on their printer. have some stuff I'd love to make but i'm a total noob to the prop and pcb building game. The classes would be pretty cool. Their prices seem reasonable.
