Birds of a feather....you are part of the scam, if you have the nerve to post an advertisement for him after what I posted from ATG, then you're almost as arrogant as he is and would explain a lot. Well done, Accomplice.
Nope, wrong interpretation. I liked the post BECAUSE it revealed an inconsistency with what Alex had been telling me. I thought I was clear in stating that I made no claims regarding the authenticity for any of the photos - just posting what was sent to me by Alex.
I received an interesting response regarding this kit from a popular aztec mask producer. It was given in confidentiality but if I receive permission from him to share then I will. It does contradict what I've been told by Alex regarding the aztec masks.
I am not "working with" anybody on this kit. I offered to help with text editing of the book because it was really bugging me - all the typos, grammar errors, jargon, and jumbled sentences. (I've received a draft copy for the first two sections of the book.) I also provided more-accurate STIII-era UFP emblem artwork that he's now using for the project, but that was only because I wanted one of the fleece blankets from his site but with better artwork than what he was offering. This is my artwork on the actual custom blanket I received (to be used as a paint protection cover while working on the warp core of my Trek-themed Corvette):

Whether my editing recommendations make it into the final book or not remains to be seen (as does the delivery of this kit).
Birds of a feather....you are part of the scam
