Large Scale USS Excelsior Class Ships - Whats out there?

I wouldnt trust photos at this point from alex. He has been given over a year to make things right past his deadline. Until members here post pics of the kit the armor stays up.

This was an "update from alex earlier posted here" looks like he found these pics as well to pass off someone elses work as his own.

This is how a she should look. Not alex's private build

Well, the product listing page has had a few very minor changes to it.

The yellow paypal button is now replaced with a red Buy it Now one. The list of details that you once had to scroll right to see all, is now vertical, like originally, just to name a few. But still no product update or photos on their forum.

I received a few dozen photos and videos from Alex this morning. He says these are not the latest photos, and I make no personal claims to whether these are of the actual kit nor at what stage of production they're taken from. For all I know these may be older photos that have already been seen on Facebook (which I am not a member of). I am assured the kit is still scheduled to ship before June. Alex is not expected to post here due to all the negativity and would rather focus on getting the kit done.

If there is interest in seeing behind-the-scenes short video clips of what seem to be excerpts from parts development discussions I am granted permission to post those as well.

Those look like they are in line with what the project has posted on facebook in the past.

There's just so much he never needed to do. Sending Bwize pictures of some one else's excelsior saucer, and some other excelsiro neck was pointless and just makes him look like a liar.

He never needed to pretend to be licensed, or have CBS involvement.

He should have just done this, post pictures of his own actual work.

Well, he had BETTER post some pics on the kits website forum. He did after all create them for the purpose of updates. There are still none present.

I just received another batch of photos from Alex. Again, I make no claims for the authenticity or production stage, but he says they contain Photoshop meta data showing dates and times. For scale reference, the refit and K't'inga parts seen in the photos are 1:537 scale. Even if some of these photos may be considered "old", not everyone here may have had access to Facebook updates, but there have been requested photos of the development work, aka progress photos.

And for those who have really pissed off Alex....
Retribution_LOL.png

(His voice-to-text turned "that I'll" into "that'll" and "no" into "know". He's been using the voice-to-text due to hand injuries having an impact on typing.)

The latest update as of today (I don't know if it's been posted to the EAD site, he's becoming more frustrated each day by having to do updates instead of working on the kit) is the kit's electronics will now be provided by Tronics based in Colorado since the guy who was originally going to provide this (Eric from Stellar Effects, I think?) has bailed on the project. He says despite all the **** that's being thrown around by disgruntled ex-collaborators isn't going to affect the kit's completion and he's looking forward to seeing their reaction when buyers start receiving it.

Now, what's holding up the "perfected" parts photos? He says there is so much clutter from all the parts that it's challenging finding a clean place large enough to photograph them. (I suppose outside isn't large enough.....)

What, not enough space to photograph them all? WTF. This is not the 1/350 or 1/200 kit. Whatever. I just cannot comprehend what the big deal is with providing just the basic kit pieces, to save face.

And NO, there are no updated pics on the kits webpage. So I will wait to see if this evening is profitable, lol.

Hmmm, you're not Alex but let me think who out of that group of lost hope would be such a cheerleader for someone like him....there are only two of you that are completely unethical about this for your own personal greed, so I have a 50-50 shot.

Disgruntled? Do you mean people he openly stole money from, lied to constantly about his background and "business", threatened with physical violence and death? Only Alex himself would write such idiocy. Smarter people on here than the last group and except for Bwise, they all read the screenshots, but I'll post some pics for you, right from Alex's own posts, which we christened "the USS Mudpie". So if you're not Alex, you're in bed with him, and I'm pretty sure I know who you actually are. Your new Delta House name will be "Accomplice" in the police reports.

Starbase 101 doesn't care that you figured that out, he thumbed up that because he's working with Mengele, different writing but using Mengels verbiage that he's throw out at us for over a year.
Nope, wrong interpretation. I liked the post BECAUSE it revealed an inconsistency with what Alex had been telling me. I thought I was clear in stating that I made no claims regarding the authenticity for any of the photos - just posting what was sent to me by Alex.

I received an interesting response regarding this kit from a popular aztec mask producer. It was given in confidentiality but if I receive permission from him to share then I will. It does contradict what I've been told by Alex regarding the aztec masks.

I am not "working with" anybody on this kit. I offered to help with text editing of the book because it was really bugging me - all the typos, grammar errors, jargon, and jumbled sentences. (I've received a draft copy for the first two sections of the book.) I also provided more-accurate STIII-era UFP emblem artwork that he's now using for the project, but that was only because I wanted one of the fleece blankets from his site but with better artwork than what he was offering. This is my artwork on the actual custom blanket I received (to be used as a paint protection cover while working on the warp core of my Trek-themed Corvette):

Whether my editing recommendations make it into the final book or not remains to be seen (as does the delivery of this kit).

The following is a Victim Advocacy Statement, provided for current and soon to be victims. I can’t stand back any longer and watch you amazing RPF’rs get RAKED OVER THE COALS by this SCAM/CON ARTIST.

COME ON FOLKS!!! COME ON!!!

Reminds me of the saying - “WHAT’s IN THE BOX???? AWW COME ON, WHAT’S IN THE BOX?!?!?!”

I am so hurt for all of you that are caught in this Scam. Seriously, look at the pics that have been released – this product has been an abysmal/awful looking turd, with the fantasy of “We’re gonna just polish this turd into a shiny, amazing Excelsior!” Are you seriously going to let that one mid section update (questionable authenticity) get you excited that after ALL this time – it’s almost ready to ship - AND you believe it's going to be a nice, clean, collectible model?? COME ON!

In my honest opinion, EVERYONE that has purchased this
NEEDS to GET YOUR MONEY BACK NOW!!! Forget about the crushed dreams of having a ‘Exclusive Product’ – it’s just not gonna happen (Not saying it won’t eventually deliver, but when you get a wobbly, warped model, you’ll be more crushed than not having the model and your money back). I think the mis-spelled word “Commisioning” on the Certificate was the FIRST CLUE you all should have seen as an example of “QUALITY” you might expect…..

So, let's dissect this a bit more:
CON ARTIST:
  • A person who tricks other people in order to get their money
  • A person who cheats or tricks others by persuading them to believe something that is not true.
  • Assumes a false personality or social mask that makes it easier to pull off the deception.
Anyone who ordered this kit, you are one of the same personalities that the victims of these people had – a honest belief (trust) in you’d get what you paid for or a return on your investment:

The manipulation, leading on, carrot and stick approach we have been witnessing in this thread rings true of these Con Artists/Scammers you should all know and RECOGNIZE THIS BEHAVIOR:
  • Anna Sorokin (theft of services, grand larceny, took money, never paid back)
  • Elizabeth Holmes (Theranos, took even more money, never delivered)
  • Adam Neumen (WeWork, took money, enjoyed the high life)
  • Simon Leviev (Tinder Swindler, need I say more?)
If you still aren’t thinking of changing your mind, Let’s Review just since JANUARY:

Jan26 - Majority of the assembly is done (Really?)

Feb 11 - meaning the Kit Ships in 6 weeks (So that’d be March 25th, How’d that go?)

March 24 – OpticsJedi (Now Confirmed to be ALEX/EAD) So for those interested in the kit you should really contact EAD. They have 8 kits left and will never again offer those. WHOA – See CON ARTIST BULLET #3

March 28
- EAD will be adding an Updates section directly to the product page with a (court document style minutes) with links to galleries of the project from beginning to end (When would that be, March 2285 (geeks will get that reference)

March 31 - CBS Viacom is currently going through a grueling approvals process for every single part (really?) an aspect of this kit and technically I shouldn't even be saying that (there's the HOOK) but if all goes well at the end of it they're going to make the unveiling of the entire thing and it's going to start shipping the remaining eight kids (so you are getting a dependent) are actually going to go up about 40% in price to compensate for the amount (WOW – You GUYS, see how lucky some of us are, NON PREORDER FOLK will get to by DIRECTLY from CBS VIACOM!!! (Seriously?!? I don't know about you guys, but if CBS offered a PRO EXCELSIOR - I'd happily pay $2k or $3k)

4/10/2022
“THE KIT is going to be released as previously stated within weeks!” (Wait, what, ‘as previously stated would have been MARCH 25, now it’s ‘maybe MAY1?)

TODAY by his Messenger:
I received a few dozen photos and videos from Alex this morning. He says these are not the latest photos.... For all I know these may be older photos that have already been seen on Facebook. I am assured the kit is still scheduled to ship before June. (When Scammers are caught, they hide behind others to continue the story, while they book their airline tickets!)

Annnnnnd - WHAT DID HE JUST SAY???? It’s NOW JUNE!!!! JEEEEEEESUUUUUUUUUS!!!)

You buyers are Crazy if you stay with this – LOOK at the pics – THAT’s probably what you are getting – a “slathered coat of putty, stucco and mud, that is so rough, it’ll look like you pulled it out of a mud puddle!

GET OUT!!! GET TO THE CHOPPER!!!

STILL NOT CONVINCED?

The PRE-ORDER SCAM

Get people’s money NOW, show them pretty boxes and hypothetical end products.

Most transactions must be disputed within 60 days of the date of your statement (laws vary of course), The Scammer knows this, keeps promising it’s almost done until the date passes where no recourse left but sue, and no one’s going to do that for $500.

Typical excuses scammers use include:
  • I’ll have photos tomorrow (then tomorrow, then tomorrow……..)
  • There is so much clutter from all the parts that it's challenging finding a clean place large enough to photograph them. (BWAH Hahahah)
  • I have hand injuries
  • “If all goes well…..” (Classic)
  • If my supplier can’t get me x, that might delay
  • Team member heart attach, relocations, …..
  • I have a family issue (ex-wife, death in family, I cut my thumb, the molds are being completed now (no photos), the master is done (no photo), the book is done (ohh, well actually we are still writing it), insulting “customers”, you know the rest.
  • Stress on personal life (forgetting about you have other peoples money)
  • SAFETY in the WORKPLACE!! (Hahahah)
  • License Approvals (Ohhh myyyyy)
  • “I can safely say that if it's not this evening it will definitely be before tomorrow morning.
  • “PEOPLE will get to see exactly what they are getting by. MONDAY EVENING AT THE LATEST!” (WAIT, WHAT?!?!?! This evening, tomorrow morning, Monday Evening? OK – that’s the CON RIGHT THERE!)
  • “CBS Viacom is currently going through a grueling approvals process for every single part (really?) an aspect of this kit and technically I shouldn't even be saying that but if all goes well at the end of it they're going to make the unveiling of the entire thing and it's going to start shipping the remaining eight kids are actually going to go up about 40% in price to compensate for the amount (WOW – You GUYS, see how lucky some of us are, NON PREORDER FOLK will get to buy DIRECTLY from CBS VIACOM!!! STILL NOT CONVINCED?!?

The LICENSE SCAM

So if you all recall, CBS/Viacom announced years back that ROUND2 gets model license. It wasn’t ‘Secret’, there was no “You can’t talk about it”, etc. but that is being claimed here (I’ve lost count of RED FLAGS). As previously mentioned, no ones going to get a license for 25, $500 models…..

Wanna see LEGIT Licensees?

Folks, this is the oldest game in the book. Find a subject someone is passionate about and loves, take their money, string them along endlessly, the dreamer customer continues to believe “Well, someday, I know I’ll get what I ordered”, and 10 years later, poor customer still waits, while the Scamster has created a new scam, sits on a beach, laughing all the way to the bank at the suckers that gave him/her money……

How’d that PRE ORDER for Anovos props work out for many of you?? Finally getting stuff because ANOTHER company had to take over for them, and people waited YEARS!

TakeAway – Don’t PRE-ORDER! EVER! When a product is IN STOCK, that’s when you Buy.

From BWIZE Post:
The yellow paypal button is now replaced with a red But it Now one (He’s RUNNING FOLKS – He’s Running!! – take as many purchases and the money to get 'unaware victims money', and RUN! - CONGAME 101.

Pre-Order folks - RUN – Don’t Walk – RUN!

After reading all the posts since my last one in this topic, words just fail me. Legal threats, Death threats, the police and now Paramount legal is involved? I'm glad I didn't order this kit!

t2sides,

WOW. Part of me just wanted to believe that this kit was legit. But seeing all that you provided has opened my eyes. I do fear that if I asked for a refund, I will never see it. So, I guess that means if I ever do receive said kit, at least I have something for the money I have spent.

I've asked for a refund many times - never got it. Paypal won't touch it since its beyond their window.

Never again.

And thanks to EAD, this is why we can't have nice things.

You're really in denial about this. Demand a refund. If you don't get an answer (you won't), do whatever you can to reverse the charge. You are not going to get a kit.
