Large prop lobster advice

Hi,

I need to replicate this large prop lobster from the movie Multiple maniacs by John Waters. Does anyone have any suggestions on materials to use. Here is a link to the clip from the movie Multiple Maniacs Lobster I do not need to make it move. Any help appreciated. - John

I am seeing corrugated cardboard for base structure and paper-mache or fiberglass/resin for texture and to get the curves to hold. It looks like there are some metal rods to stabilize the appendages, but if yours is stationary on the ground you should be able to skip those.

For me the easiest way would be carving EPS if it's a display lobster. At least for the body.
