LAPD Badges?

That Motor Officer badge is REAL. The Lieutennant badge that LACollector posted is also REAL. The Motor Officer Rank of badge was retired in the 50's. There is one on display at the LAPD museum in Lincoln Heights.
These in MY collection are also REAL. REAL LAPD current issue badges go for $2500 and $900 for the 2/3 Size RETIRED ones. They ARE rare. but you can find them if you try hard enough. I have a HARDER time finding authentic picture used prop badges than I do the real ones.

The guy I used to make my LAPD badge from Die Hard is in Germany. He doesn't make single badge orders anymore, only runs of 10 or more. These also cost $150- $175 each. I am intersted in getting a Die Hard 4 NYPD badge done but I need another 9 people that would be willing to fork out the $175 each.
