I received these TWO beauties a few days ago and just now was able tto photograph them.
These ARE Steve Neisen TIE Fighter kits! NOT the crap that Jawa RECASTER was selling on eBay.
For these "regular" TIE kit builds I chose, once again, R. Leslie from Out of Time Clocks and Hobbies, LLP.
All I can say is... WOW!!! Not only did he make each TIE it's own with varying panels, but he gave the resin wings (normally made of KoolShade on the Hero kits)the SHEEN that is reflective!!!

You are a "true old school" professional sir! And you are a GREAT friend! I also wish to thank Steve Neisen for delivering these fantastic kits to me in record time when I ordered them.
When taking these photos, and knowing the issue with the TIE fighters color, I experimented with the "Blue Lighting" to see if I could get them to show as the same colors seen in ANH. Not surprising, the farther away the lighting, the more "blue" the TIE's retained. When I applied the "Direct" "Blue Lighting", the TIES washed out and looked like the more "grey" color from ANH. At my limited skill level, I will never really be able to capture the look the pros did,.. but I understand it a bit more now!
As usual, to make it easier for fast viewing, I keep all my photos on one site and on the same server.
