I built the ultimate Elf Suit for my Godson and awesome Little Person Max:

But I was able to build a Krampus for my role in "A Krampus Christmas" that I was a Principal in during the Holidays.

Gorilla Suit $30
Black Faux Fur throw rug to make suit fit $15
Ghetto Weave Hair: $60
Rubber Boots $10 because one is size 14.5 and one is 14
Skate Board Helmet $5
Rigid foam horns $25
Hardware $8
Contacts $60
Burton Planet of the Apes Gorilla Muscle suit (eBay) $125
Hot Glue and latex $10
Red Food Coloring $2

$350 exactly. The Muscle suit has already been used in this and in our upcoming Film "Dear God No!" Dear God No!
So really it wasn't bought for this alone. It'll see use as Krampus, Bigfoot and the Boggy Monster.

So subtract $75 off the suit.
Add $2 for jersey gloves
$10 for horror claws and super glue.

$287 total.

Well, the last night, after the show I crashed Santarchy as Krampus. A 7 foot tall Krampus in the middle of 300 drunk, idiots in cheap Santa suits goes over swell.
I didn't pay for a drink.

Leave it to a Georgian to be the first one to post a Krampus suit to the RPF. Really love the look of the hands in the above pic, and it's good to see those Cinovation / Burton apes suits get a second life after the film ... those were easily the best kept secret on eBay for a spell.

The hands are just brown jersey gloves with airbrushed knuckles and tendons. Super glued some closeout horror nails on them.

Yep, I've used the snot out of this Cinovation suit. It was a great deal, tad small for me, but I can still get in/out it with some help. Once it's on it stays put.

The bottle of red food coloring to touch up the tongue is the biggest pain.

Thanks for the good words folks! There's a 2 Bigfoot, Bigfoot build going to start in a month or so for the sequel to Dear God No! - Frankenstein Created Bigfoot. It should be a good time.
