Kobold Flash?

No idea, all I got was the Kobold itself, a reflector and a cable. No manual included.

Like I said good enough for a Droid Caller however I too am quite surprised in seeing this type of Kobold for the first time and agree with Michael that the reflector-clamp is quite unusual. Could this perhaps be the third Kobold variation that Chris a.k.a. Lonepigeon speaks of?

Strange thing, even the reflector-clamp that is often used as D-ring bracket is different.

Never seen such a version, maybe a slave unit?

No slave unit Michael, just a variation of this bulb-flash.
I have quite a few Linhofs and Kobolds and about half of them have the bracket with the wide-positioned screws.

The bracket, yeah - but the whole as is (bracket, knobs, buttons,..) is strange. :wacko

If I'm correct this is an older variation.

This isn't a screen used version of the Kobold.

I've seen that bracket mount type before, but not this exact configuration of buttons. It's not accurate, but I suppose it's not bad for costuming if you can't get a correct one for a decent price.
