Small update and a bit of a shock.

So excited about this build, it's honestly amazing. The time, effort and craftsmanship put into making this is ridiculously impressive.

Crappy quality pics but here we go.

- Head is still not skinned due to lack of glue (I missed the package on friday!)
- Wings need a little adjustment with the rings I put my fingers through.
- One hand still needs to be painted
- The cape
- Tail in position
- Some sewing on the boots needs to be done
- Extra closure around the knees is necessary
- Scalemail is obviously not finished yet.

Not all of the skin is glued tight as you can see, let alone the lower jaw. But that will be done asap. just like some finishing touches.

That is incredible! I love dragons, Smaug is one of the best I have seen on screen. I see you're going to October MCM so maybe I'll bump into you there I've had an Alduin costume that's kinda similar to this in my mind for about a year now, maybe I'll tackle it after RoboCop, just need to up my sewing skills!

Wow just wow. I love the videos the head movement and illumination are fantastic. I can imagine a horde of terrified kids running in the opposite direction when seeing you. 200% amazing.

I may very well have to get to the London MCM in October. This is an incentive. =) That head is fiolm worthy i kid you not. Good luck for the competition! I honestly feel you blow the rest out of the water.

The glow effect and skinned head looks amazing.

Are you going to wear some kind of mask to hide your face, or are you going to rock it like this?

Another question; are the l.e.d.s for the eyes and the mouth controlled separately or are they one circuit?
Real question; are you going to be able to control the mouth glow to do the whole "powering up firebreath" thing he does?

I was planning to, but I forgot. So I'll use my t-shirt.

Unfortunately not. It's on or off. Maybe that's a thing for the future.
