K.I.T.T. Replica progress

The video was GREAT! I have to say between work, family, and life in general, to make time for a project of this Magnatude is beyond words. I don't know if you are married, if you are you truly have a very understanding wife. If your not, then I say : " Full Speed ahead and bring on the next version of K.I.T.T. [or K.A.R.R.]:love"

Thank you. I am married with 4 children and do work a full time job. I usually reserved weekends to try and get some work done on the car for a few hours here and there. The hardest part is just getting out and started on something.

My wife has been very understanding of the project because she knows I'm a "car guy" and have always been doing something with a car even before we were married. We've been married for over 17 years now. My kids love it. They range from 16-12 and are always asking to see what the car can do today.

Fantastic job on your Kitt replica.

That era of Trans Am is a timeless classic & not many are found in pristine condition.

Dude Freaking Sweet!! Does it talk

I have it set-up to play through the cars stereo system. I have a DVD that has every single WAV file from the complete series run of Knight Rider with KITT and KARR talking along with sound FX. It was a DVD created by a good friend of mine in FL. who spend hundreds of hours compiling every phase ever spoken by William Daniels, Peter Cullen & Paul Frees. The samples are absolutely amazing!

The voicebox is hooked up to the left front speaker wires and when the voice speaks, the voicebox reacts.

Future plans call for a carputer preloaded with all the WAV files and another amazing graphics DVD I have from another member in the KR community. The graphics DVD will be played over the televisons.

Thank you again everyone for the great compliments!!!
