K.I.T.T. Replica progress

I can do is repeat what everyone else has said. Wow! Amazing! I want one too!!! :lol

Seriously, It is really fantastic. :thumbsup An iconic car from tv's history.

I have seen many of these replicas up close - they vary wildly but that is half the fun. Yours, however, sir, is exquisite. Love that you chose the Scheffe season 1 version with the lettering on the wheel. You need one of the Comlink replicas to finish it all off.

Classy stuff..!

Very cool! I like that the nose(for lack of a better term) matches well in both shape and color.

Overall wonderful and the only suggestion I'd make is to get hasselhoff off your monitors. :lol

Now take it to some car shows and make some money back.

My wife says "Hey! don't hassle the hof!" I in turn LOL and ask her if I drove this car would she marry me. She replies, I'm already married to you!:lol

Seriously, This is probably better then the actual car from the show. I envy you and your craftsmanship, you deserve an award for how incredible this car looks. Looking at this makes me want to make my dream vehicle, a life-size Airwolf, unfortunately someone has already beat me to it.

Now all you need is a leather jacket and a Jerry curl wig.

Always wondered how odd it would be to drive with that steering "wheel"?

Superb job!

I've seen several at cons. Most are kinda crappy VERY used cars with conversion kits.

This looks like it is REAL!

Superb job!

The first one I saw as a kid was at a car show and I think it was one of the actual cars. I got to sit in it and was very dissapointed that Kitt didn't talk to me! :( LOL!

That's absolutely awesome! Unbelievable attention to detail, but I have one question...

Didn't the KITT "talking" display feature a square instead of the 3 moving lines in season one?

I just recieved my new Comlink watch and it is fantastic. :)

The Pilot/S1 version was also my favorite as well. I really wanted to try and honor Michael Scheffe's design and original built work as much as possible. To me, the man is a genius. I was honored he even autographed a photo of my car.

I saw at a New Jersey grocery store wearing a t-shirt that said that. :lol

Don't forget the red turtleneck!

Are you going to keep it garaged or is it going to be an everyday car?

I plan on driving is some, but very little. Not as a daily driver for certain but it will spend most of the time in my garage.

Actualy, it's not that strange at all to drive with the wheel, easy to get used to.

Only the first 12 episodes featured the red flashing square (Scheffe's original dash) 'Hearts of Stone' is the episode that Universal made the change to the voicebox display. This is one the features I changed from Scheffe's original build along with the switchpod button labels/colors.

Thank you all very much again for the awesome replies!!!

Sir, absolutely incredible work! I've always wanted one since I was a kid and I think you've just rekindled my love for this car.

Thank you.
