Jurassic World Velociraptor Blue 3D printed Bust.....

Hey everyone, after taking a bit of a physical production break on some projects, Have a few ready to go in 2019. Here is the First, this was a shared project by multi-talented artist Manuel Unda and Myself. I did the body form, and then he would sculpt scales for a few hours, then I would sculpt scales for a few hours until we finally reached a comfortable point to 3d Print a bust. We do have a full model, however we are only halfway down its back, so wont be printing that for a while.....

I never expected to get this level of detail out of a PLA print, but i'm excited for all the possibilities!

Is that life-size? I recently sculpted a raptor in epoxy putty, and I’m amazed the details you got through 3D printing. Nice work!
