This vest looks legit. I just ordered the Medium; i will report back when it comes in. It looks like medium is out of stock now, but they update it everyday. It was oos yesterday, but I was able to order this afternoon.

How do the Eastland Boots fit? Do they tend to run large, small or right on?

I've had mine for about two weeks now. I usually wear a size 11D in most shoes (New Balance, Nike, Rockport, Alden to name a few I know are 11D for me.) I ordered an 11 in the Eastlands and they are spot on. Great fit and very comfy.

I'm doing the same, I've been thoroughly reading this thread for awhile & when it comes to the vest I'm gonna wait for Indy Magnoli to come out with their vest.
has anyone decided to put the treads on the bottom of their Eastland boots ? I'm just gonna go with the Dr Martens that were mentioned earlier as they look close enough & have good tread already.

Unles i am mistaken, my biggest concern is that this vest looks far darker than the actual vest, however I am also very intrested in how this version will look in person.
Also I wanted touch base in regards to Jonathan Logan's customer service and product quality. I bought a Captain Malcolm Reynolds Browncoat from him about 4 years ago and this thing still fits great and is verry well made. When I was looking for that jacket every one was comlplaing that he doest make the jacket the same way as the one in the original TV show. So i decided to call him up and after talking with him many different times over the phone I bought my jacket and I have to say that it was/is perfect! My Browncoat did take almost 4 months to come in but that was due primarily to material acquisition issues which stem from the shear size and type of the leather tarps required to make it. My bigest advice is to BE PATIENT! It is definately worth the wait! I think I got his number from his web page.

It's from the Casio GD-100-MS-3. You can pick up a replacement strap with the buckle for around $30.
Awesome, just picked a strap/bezel set. Awesome find. If not for the Red accents that GD would have been spot on.

Those with the addition of another sole (tread). I ended up picking up two pairs at a good price from Sears because they were nice boots! I will wear one out, then use the others once these die.

OK...so many readers / lurkers here have been asking about the Leatherman tool holder. I hope that the admins here don't mind that I update folks.
I've been working very hard trying to get clear guidance from the US State Department about exports. So there is good news, of a sort.
Knife sheaths are out, as those are custom fitted and I need a knife to come TO ME first, then try to get it back out.
But the Leatherman Tool Holders...I absolutely CAN MAKE THOSE for our foreign friends! Just a few things to note...
First...Due to my company not being able to process international credit cards, it would need to be paid by PayPal.
Second...I would ship via the Postal Service, with a tracking number. Would go Parcel Post, so it could take a couple weeks to get to you.
The upside? You absolutely can get a genuine just-like-the-movie Leatherman Tool Holder. You can contact me through PM here or through my site, which most all of you know the URL for.
Please accept my apologies for taking as long as it has to get things straight. I truly wasn't prepared for the interest in the stuff I made for the movie, and I was caught completely by surprise. I hope that I can help folks out in getting original gear into your hands.

I totally got duped into the jacket maker vest. Totally returning that. That ebay link is just spot on!
Another nod to Orvis customer service. They credited my full price casting shirt with $30 off to reflect the latest promotion and put thay towards the belt I picked up today. Walked out just spending $20 bucks for it!
The vest arrives tomorrow from JM so atleast I can get a pic of everything together before I flip the vest for the eBay one.
