Hey guys, I've been out on vacation. You've been missed!
Odd request: For my job, I'll be interviewing Jake Johnson on August 27 for his new movie and had of a crazy idea...I want to do the interview dressed as Lowery! This will be the third time I've interviewed him over the years and he's a super nice dude that will totally go for this and find it funny. The first time I interviewed him we bowled during the interview.
I'm totally set on the screen accurate Lowery costume except for the Salt Valley pearlsnap shirt. The one I have is a MD but fits more like a SM so I'd need a LG. Even an XL would probably work better than the one I have.
Does ANYONE have one I can possibly borrow? I will gladly pay shipping both ways and have something signed for you by Jake. Also, you'll know it's your shirt being worn in an interview with him!

Visited Orvis in Avon CT today, very helpful staff and were unaware of the costume. The older gentleman who helped me was top notch and when I inquired about the whereabouts do the belts, started to show me other belts, then j said I was costuming for an exact belt and he said his wife is a costumer for Broadway stuff and knows that only exact will do. I then saw the belt and told him that JW uses these clothes and he thought it was really cool. Great experience at the store overall!

Anyone have any luck getting in touch with Steve about the knife? or getting a knife run together?
Hey, if no one is doing the knife... let me know; we could certainly do a run of them (probably with the sheath included).
Sounds good... and great price point too! Will you be offering a real knife version too?

At the moment I think they are just gonna focus on a one piece version that will be static with the knife permanently
in the sheath
Hey guys! Just wanted to show you my Owen Grady vest replica. I really like it and, with screen accurate zipper, shapes and seams, I think it's as accurate as it gets. Thanks to everyone who shared pics of the screen used vest! *EDIT* After going back I want to give a special thanks to @letownse for his awesome pics.

Yes ! There have been so many different vest vendors and pictures posted that it gets hard to keep each one straight. This one looks Incredible! Who's this it.

has anyone bought a medium orvis shirt then got the small? if not i know some have gone from the large to medium, can you tell me the size difference and if its just the torso or do the arms fit tighter? i've got a medium and it fits torso great but arms seem baggy so was just wandering if i get a small it will solve the problem or will it fit torso too tight?

For me going from a large to a medium was perfect. But my large was perfect in the arms and too loose in body. I found the medium not much shorter in the arms but much better in the body.
Call up anovis, they can give you the exact measurements of the arms so you know how much smaller they get. You could always order a small tall if you're worried about arms, but since we are rolling up the sleeves anyways, it wont make too much of a difference, at least for costuming. But i highly recomend the orvis customer support, they won't steer you wrong.

Just got my blue Orvis shirt today & am so happy with it!
Great feel, great fit, just an all over great shirt & have the grey one coming to me too.
i have a question....
looking back on the photos of Grady was his shirt dyed ? Did we decide on that?
just they don't seem the right colour.

I emailed him about 2 weeks ago & I've heard nothing back from him. And the last update I got was about a mound a half ago & said its not looking good so far

Supposedly they gave it a slight wash to give it an earthier tone... I call bs... looking at the behind the scenes pictures posted by dragon, you can see the color without color correction, and its a super close color... they just dirtied it up a bit. But it is for sure the grey one.
