The Alan Grant book cover that's on display was actually made by Paul Elder, who used to be a member here. He's a graphic designer & prop builder (and JP fan) who has several of his prop replicas on display at Universal Studios. Universal commissioned some of his work to use as set decoration for the ride. Some of those items used to be displayed in the JP Ride gift shop, but it looks like they've moved some of them to the line queue.

The copy of Grant's book in the River Adventure is still there, this is a different one in the VelociCoaster queue. And they're not Paul Elder prints, they're originals from the film, I've had them verified by UO Employees. There's a few other props from the films scattered in the gift shops, including Nick Van Owen's camcorder from TLW and a bunch on InGen equipment.

There're some differences between the text on that copy and the (seemingly official) cover that was on auction years ago (e.g. "refreshing" vs "refreshingly", seemingly no hyphen in "world's great" and an added dot after "University". i suppose there might have been differences between versions though. (I created a version based on the auction pic on page 8 for anyone interested btw, it's a decade old though)

Oh I agree but if you find something high res enough it does the trick :p Here's how I got on, did a few for fun once that layer was open :D

Original restored with photoshop and Illustrator. Fonts are as close as I could find, anyone know the Serif font used?

I'm also working on a cad version of Nedry's can this was done in a few hours in 3DS Max, I know it's not strictly a paper prop but I have the JP bug :)

Paul
dude, do you have the 3d model of the can???

Anyway this is my current draft version. I'm terrible at redrawing logos so the INGEN one is a bit wonky, so if anyone could help out with that it would extremely appreciated, or if someone wants to make their own version I used Helvetica Narrow & Bold for the fontsView attachment 1077744
New photos of the gas grenade appeared. They are on display at Universal Orlando Jurassic World Tribute Store. It is now possible to create the label more correctly.

Thanks for sharing these! I'd seen some pics of Roland's dinosaur guide from TLW but not the grenade. Here's a quick change of my label, might revise the fonts later though

With the new pictures surfing online, I believe it's time to revisit the info sheets. Can anyone guess the size of the sheets displayed? Comparing the size of the brochure in photoshop I came up with this. However the one in Roland's hand seems a lot larger, but smaller version is still seen in the Pachycephalosaurus scene. The prop seems to have 9-11 pages in it as I saw in Roland's hands. Again any thoughts on the size is appreciated.

Just going by screencaps, but I would guestimate maybe 9 by 12 sheets, with an additional 3/4 inch laminate boarders.

The smaller ones seem to be maybe 6 by 8 sheets:

I thought those were 6x8 inch papers too, but look at this pic, the brochure is 8.25 inch long, the prop seems to be much smaller than 8 inches.

Original scans of Hadrosaurus, Maiasaura and Corythosaurus info sheets appeared on facebook. Now it is possible to read the information of Hadrosaurus and observe the skulls of this and Maiasaura. They have just been shared in the Brazilian group Jurassic Park 4.4
