I've worked out connectors for the controller pads that are stock items that are at lease CLOSE to what we see in the movie. The movie ones are fantasy, especially as they are symmetrical, which wouldn't fly with a controller, since reversing the connection would likely short it electronically.

The movie connectors do have bigger bevel on one of the corners. So they are asymmetrical actually

That's probably true for 1995, but look at USB3C today and Apple's Lightning connectors. Totally reversible for your convenience. Today's routers and switches can even detect wrongly wired Ethernet cables and correct for it in most cases. Besides, the game was supposed to be Supernatural was it not? Physics? Bah.

Oh, cool. Mine is that same slant, just on both sides. As accurate as possible, and yet is an actual port. My Console is going to be totally FUNCTIONAL and will actually play a Jumanji - Welcome to the Jungle video game. My controllers will plug in with my selected connector and actually function.

We'll see if my vision is obtainable.

Ended up turning the game system into a actual fully functional game system I loaded an old 8 bit Jumanji game

so I wanted to build a accurate next level consul .. so I built a regular console and destroyed it

Then I used all the leftover chunks that I could find on the pavement

I rushed the prototype a little bit so I slowed down and Used photo reference to cut the pieces correctly or as correctly as I could find

And now we have a Jumanji next level console

Actually, i have I sold quite a few of these in 2020 the molds still exist.
