I actually ordered my S&W kit from an unassuming eBay vendor.
Imagine my shock when I received it, and the return address said...Ron Shanko.

Yep the Shanko & Wright midgrade: designed by Stephan Wright & the kits were made by Ron Shanko....
Must have been one of his last S&W kits as he started making the "Super-Mids" he claims they are better although I think he just dialed in the details to be slightly more accurate..

Right. My point, though, is that I had no clue HE was the seller, based on the eBay vendor's name. I thought it was someone REselling the kit.

I know, and because my Wand Phaser display space is void, my communicator is just reaching out. It’s all about community.

I got home today & polished it. The shine darkens it just a bit. One pic indoors, one out.Looks like one of those colors where a low gloss clear coat might perfect it
My official verdict: this colour is about as perfect as you'll get. VERY highly recommended.

I have a Wand phaser and would strongly recommend a 3D printed phaser over the Wand...

Yeah I found a champaign color that if you add a tiny bit of grey metallic to darken it up looks really good.
