Julien’s Hero Phaser & Communicator Images

For me the big revelation is the brass pins for reinforcing the connection between the grip and the P2. We've seen these holes in the bottom of the original Greg Jein phaser but not the pins themselves.

It seems the pins would have to be inserted from inside the p2 body, with the p2 body half shell still off, after the grip was twist-locked to the phaser. Cumbersome, but it explains how they were able to put up with those lamp plugs, which otherwise are too floppy to be reliable.

—EDIT: moved to the discussing thread as this thread should probably be maintained a “pictures only” archive, I suppose

I'd have loved it if there was a color checker reference in one of these shots as they *seem* to have a slight florescent-greenish cast. (Pro photog here.) Now that the pieces have been sold, I wonder if any of us will ever see them again?

FWIW, specifically the handle’s true color has a distinct greenish note. I’m an art director/designer so I deal with color all the time. A CC card would have been nice but I wasn’t present at the shoot. FWIW2, because of the nature of auctions, Julien’s tries to get things as neutral as possible.
