So I was a bit late in the Scout Trooper helmet but earlier this year I was able to buy an RS Scout from NickCline. I've never been a big fan of the plaques or the signature editions, but this one came with the signature plaque. Signed by Dickey Beer which I thought was pretty cool. However I wanted to take it a step further. Around the time I got the helmet The Prop Store had the auction for Nilo Rodis Jamero art, so I made sure to grab one of the new Scout concepts. I was also able to find an amazing photo print of Nilo Rodis and Pete Ronzani working on the original helmets during the pre-production for ROTJ signed by both artists.

So cool!! I am a proud owner of this RS helmet as well. And I saw that sales with the concepts but didn't buy one. Great that you got one. And a nice one too! Very nice display!

Nice helmet, I also bought one of these back then.
I just drooled over your helmet collection the other day and here you go again... gorgeous!

I’m wondering why your plate says “Artist Proof” while mine has “#12 of 100” on it.
The other lettering is the same with signature in the middle.
As far as I remember these so called artist proof editions are always strictly limited to 100.
Did they change the style of plate print in between?

My Colin Michael Kitchens Sandtrooper helmet also says "Artist Proof". I ordered it recently, well after they stopped taking orders for a while. I'm not sure if those are counted in the 100 or not.

Thanks roygilsing! I couldn't help it. I knew they would look great together. I just need to find the space to display all three pieces together LOL.

Thanks RoCKo! I noticed that as well and I dont have a clue as to what they did. I do know there was a Facbook group that got a whole exclusive run of the scouts with the DIckey Beer signature. Not sure if this is one of those. I have seen a handful of other Scout helmets with this artist proof plaque.

A little something I havent posted as I've been buys with multiple projects going on at the same time. Real found Scout trooper gloves. These are the correct Esprit model used for the Scouts in ROTJ. The brand made a few models that were very similar to these, and that can be customized to achieve a very close look to the screen used. Very fortunate to have found these:

That’s wicked man!

Here is an image I found a while back on the original gloves and the modifications that were done for the final on screen look.
