Looks like I should learn how to take a picture properly.
I need proper lighting. The auction site took a beautiful picture, and I am having trouble taking an equal pic.

My apologies for taking so long. I was not happy with that gold, and I have gotten a different gold. (ignore the bubbles in the surface, those won't be in the final cards)

Bubbles are definitely an issue. I'll review "screen protector application" videos.
Here is the image of my card reflecting the white paper AND black object simultaneously. Showing that this card does indeed change from Gold to Black depending on what it is reflecting.

Yes, but I need to fix the bubble issue before going full set of labels.

I've now purchased 3 different Gold's. But I think I've finally found one I like and can proceed with final cards. I've refined the front (pictured) and will now do the back artwork and then print that.

------UPDATE-------

I got my vertical alignment off a bit, but used a homemade spreader to resolve the bubbling issue.

The cross is reflecting the white sheet of paper. You can see on the right edge of the right bird that where it is NOT reflecting the white paper, the bird is the darker gold color.

I'm close to a finished product.

I love my v1 and I'm just going to keep both versions even if the v1 isn't accurate....

Yes, the new card is more accurate in several ways, but the old just black and gold is also a classy look.
