Starting a build on an ION blaster for my kid's costume so she can troop with me in the x-mas parade this year.

Can anyone tell me the diameter and length of the grenade launcher canister at the end of the rifle's barrel? Her's won't be a dead match for the original as I'll be kit bashing, but I want to get as close as possible. Thanks!
