James Bond Holster Help

For his PPK does he use a 'horizontal' or 'vertical' carry holster? I know in the earlier films it was 'vertical', but was there any difference in the more recent films such as Golden Eye or the begining of Tomorrow Never Dies etc? Any help would be appreciated!
