Very good idea! I actually have access to stuff to be able to do that.
I was thinking of a voice recorder hidden in the box as well, maybe a laser? What goodies could I realistically stick in there?
I went to the exhibit! Almost died when I saw the case.
I will also be producing more of these, making them more screen accurate every time!

Maybe when you open the case, the voice recorder starts? And you definitely need a false top to cover all the goodies beneath! Could maybe add a laser cut out in the foam for a backup Omega from Q branch?

Great idea! As soon as the case is opened up it starts recording the evidence.
There is plenty of space under the false top for other gadgets. I was thinking of a sonic grenade (unpleasant sound) triggered by remote!
Or possible an electric shock.

More updates! The entire case has the red felt finish now! VERY close to finished. 85 % done.

That looks great! Did you fabricate the edges along the case with wood or something to give it that ledge against the sides of the case?

A couple things, One the real case has skiver (leather) lining not felt. But this looks pretty darn good. And two,
actually the reason there is a ledge, is that its a separate box, its made to hide all of the gadgetry that is happening behind it, otherwise you would see all of the tubes and mechanics making everything happen.
I quite like the look of the ledge and the box is not as deep as it would have been. But it works wonderfully. The ledge on the sides close to the catches uses a little black art to hide how thick it really is. I will make a video when I am finished showing a tutorial of how I made it all happen.
I still must finish the sovereign straps with snaps (transit tokens)
and the voice recorder and laser pointer.
Must also find the rifle. (Airsoft that has easy take down)
