also are the files with your personal scale numbers?

That's not a bad idea. When I perfect this method and get some free time, I'll make a tutorial for everyone. :)
It does require some blender knowledge and reunfolding of the file. So it's a slightly more advanced method. But not too hard.

No these files are in no way scaled to me at all. Thats just the default scale it was unfolded as. I am about 5'7 and a few pages back i posted the scale i calculated for me. If i did it right, my scale for the upper and lower torso should be about 387.317055. I think the default scale (425.232765) will be for a pretty tall person (Im guessing about 6 feet or more) :)

Well i've got some good and bad news everyone :unsure

Good news: The helmet is finished! I think it looks great!

Bad news: The helmet is not cooperating with pepakura! For some reason, pepakura is not allowing the file to be uploaded at all :cry:cry:cry
I tried the exporting formats with blender (OBJ, 3DS, STL) but it still doesnt work. I did try to split the faceplate/chin with the back of the helmet and the back of the helmet uploads fine, but the faceplate/chin still wont open in pepakura :( I will try to solve it some more tomorrow but so far i dont know how to.

wow man.. you are an incredible modeler.. im waiting for this files so i can start building mine.. i want to have it ready before the movie

i was going to start building War Machine but i think ill wait for your files..

Keep your chin up! Computers are like people. Sometimes they get a little touchy and you have to duck-tape their mouth shut and bury them... What was I saying? Oh yeah! COMPUTERS!!! :D There is always a solution! :)

I think there's a couple people on the forums that have done the "Mark 8" already. Not sure about availability of files, but I'm pretty sure there's at least a couple threads on it.

Helmet looks tight, Jackie... nicely done!
