I do agree with everyone else so finish your Robocop! And if you still wanna make this for the premier, you can have a suit 100% finished in a month (for some crazy, supernatural reason :eek) so i think you will have plenty of time for whatever projects you want to do.

Helmet should be done pretty soon (i hope) probably in a week or less(judging how long it took the other parts to be made.) Still hoping for new pics to be released soon but we'll see :popcorn

Just saw $3.00 worth of cheap auto-9 bb-gun. It was probably 90% from original scale, it has "Made in China" on the side.
With sanding and re-painting, it should come out very nice.
Me thinking.

A 1:1 P90 SHOULD do the job. But 90% would be lovely.
I'll do some looking around with my airsoft friends and be sure to post a link for purchase!

some flea markets here are also selling that robocop type BB gun. retail's around $3-$4.

I think auto-9 is based on colt 45?

I had that in BB, nice!!!

Why 90% smaller is good? I got disappointed the fact the grip is right on the edge of my palm.
I saw a nice HK USB (90% smaller) knock-off too, non BB, but it has full auto action (slide goes back and forth in single trigger pull), and extention like auto-9.
I got my KWC USB compact, converted to Metal Gear's look a like (Laser and silencer). Full USB is too big for me.

Should we move? I feel bad for Jackie. This should be a WM discussion.

Nice work do you think the proportions will work for a 6' 260 lbs person? I had to get creative with my mark 6 for the abb bad cod section but the chest had a lot of room at + 10%
Any suggestions other than loose weight would be appreciated.

I would suggest choosing a suit that is more suited to your body style. ie mk 1,iron monger, war machine, hulk buster.

best one should be mark 1 or you can design your own suit like heavy artillery or mod it to hulk buster

All you skinny people **** me off! ;) When I was in the Army, at my absolute thinnest, I could barely squeeze into a 36" waist. And I had to run 3 miles a day and excersize all the time to keep that figure. 12 years later, I am between a 40 and a 42. I have started excersizing and watching my diet, just so when I get finished building one of these types of "suites" I won't look weird in it. :)... I miss the army...

That's what they said about the mark 6 and it seemed to work out. My proportions are not pear shaped as most people assume when describe yourself as a 260 lbs person allthough I was 285 lbs when I started my mark 6 . Just wondering if the new armor will be proportioned like the mark 6 or 7 if it is then I'll make it work for all the iron pusher out there.

Also, keep in mind if you're doing it in foam, it'll move a bit. I'm a 36 inch waist, but I have a rather slim body, so if the suit was scaled to fit me horizontally instead of my pant size, it's going to stick out a lot in the front and back. Which I'm perfectly fine with. I say, design the model to fit the film version as best we can and little tweaks can be made by whomever is building it as they see fit.

Now, BACK TO THE SUBJECT AT HAND!
Who else is already starting this build with the models we've got so far?

I'm tweeking the files as we speak so I can cut them on my CNC once programmed it will take 30 min or so to cut. I just have to talk my wife into wrapping me up with duct tape tonight!!! Wow that sounds bad doesn't it.
Thanks for the advice johnny that's exactly what I'll do LET'S GET BUILDING
