I've started working on a Jack Frost costume for Ottawa ComicCon next year, but the frost on his hoodie is giving me some trouble. I've seen a lot of hand-painted versions online, but they all lack the look from the movie.
As you can see in these screenshots, the "frost" is very shiny (as you would expect), and incredibly detailed. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to make it actually look like frost, instead of like glittery fabric paint, and how to get the very high level of detail that the movie has?
