Jack Bauers got NUTHIN on MattMunson

Could be strange timing, but I've only recently discovered 24. So it came as no surprise to me to learn that Jack Bauer has some competition.

Due to some strange circumstances that were beyond my control, I ended up doing R2 related shenanigans for just over 34 hours straight.

Here's the break down. (Events occur in real time)

11:00 Am. Woke up. Mucked about
1:00 PM Drove to San Francisco
7:30 PM Arrived in San Fran, and started working on R2.
5:00 AM took a break to update my blog. Kept working on R2
12:00 PM Started to load R2 into the car, along with all the other stuff
1:00 PM Departed San Fran
7:30 PM Arrived in Orange County. Unloaded R2 into the garage
8:30 PM Called "Special Lady Friend" to say goodnight
9:00 PM Finally made it into bed.

I had to bring R2 down to Orange County to paint him. Just didn't have the facilities to do it up in San Fran. So he's all set up down here, and I'm messin' around with him in the garage. You can read all about the updates and see pics at THE BLOG

Have you been driving to SF (6 hours) every time you've worked on R2?

Excellent point. Unlike Bauer, I also find other cars on the freeway when I travel

And no, I don't have to drive from OC every time I go to the shop. I have dual citizenship in both Orange County and San Francisco. Typically, the shop is 12 minutes away from my appartment.


There were no casualties on this mission.
