Its that time of the year!!!

I feel the same. Those that didn't gawk or acknowledged the costume would ask who I was supposed to be. :confused I'd point to the Cobra symbol and ask, "Seriously?" And these were adults! :lol

Do people not remember their childhood heroes anymore? I mean I can forgive people not getting me, as it was very much my own take on the character (although all the tell-tale signs were there), but your costume is not only acurate/awesome, it features a big fugoff logo on the front!

Here's a quick shot my wife took.

I know! What would really get to me is when I'd tell them I'm the Cobra Baroness and they'd give me a blank look. I'd say, "You know...GI Joe." and they'd reply "Oh! I haven't seen that movie yet." :confused

One guy called me 'Scarlet'. :confused:lol

Don't take it personally; it all depends on what people were/are into. I have to admit I would probably have been one of those "blank look" people because I've never had any interest in GI Joe, so I would have no frame of reference.

My Hammer Prop won the Grand Prize Winner at one of the Halloween Costume Contest here on Hawaii

My whole family did the Castaways from Gilligan's Island, with me as the Skipper for my brother's Halloween Party, we were just missing the Professor. On Halloween I did the TK for an event in the AM and Rorschach for Trick or Treating with the kids.

Here are a few photos of my son’s costumes. He wore his Indy gear to school on Friday and then Luke Bespin costume Halloween night.

That Bespin costume is incredible, even the boots are dead on. Lucky kid to have you as a dad.

At the last minute I decided to break my Halo combo and finish off my Rorschach costume.

It was a bit rushed, but did the job well. The mask is one of Kwally's, The rest of the costume parts are all inexpensive solutions that I found myself. Coat is a London Fog trenchcoat that I altered and waxed, Hat is a trimmed down Indy replica.. Even hand painted the pin myself. All in all, less than $200 for the costume.

Some pics from party:

Thanks for your help RPF!

Here's what I did during the month of October. Six Flags Fright Fest. Louisville Kentucky. I'm the one in the Pirate outfit. The other two are my coworkers at the park. We've been doing this since 2000.

And here is Ashton, my 5-year old in the costume I made for him:

I love threads like this, seeing all the costumes. You all look great!

For the first time since 2003 I had somewhere to go and was able to wear my Indy costume (Which of course has gone through many changes. I can give a gear break down if anyone wants it). Being that I got the pants in 1999 when I was 25, I was glad to see they still fit. It was nice to be in a crowd and hear "Hey it's Indiana Jones!" again.

Nice work on the hat! And I see you got the "brown" aldens instead of the "pumpkin" ones like I got (which I subesequently had to "recolor" using Meltonian #93 -- still isn't quite right...).

Whose jacket are you wearing?
