There's no way I'm going to have my HEV suit done in time for Halloween (plus I don't have any events hardcore enough to wear it to) so I'm trying to finally finish my ESB Solo for this year. I have my second fitting for the pants tomorrow, they looked totally sweet last time and they didn't even have the stripes yet. Then I just have to improve upon my jacket, use the costumebase shirt to pattern one out of material that doesn't turn me into pure sweat, and finish making my belts.

I got it off of ebay for $168 shipped with a small hairline crack in the back of it. I couldnt pass it up for the price, because usually they are over $300.

that's oversized...The kibahelmet is smaller than other helmets from MMPR. :-\ unless you're really tiny. it'll do in a pinch but I'd replace it with a stunt cast. Is that one of the ones held together with magnets?

I'm going to be going as a Biker Scout (no surprise there) and my daughter will be going as an ewok. She will chase me house to house beating me with her spear.

Ashton (he just turned 5) is going to be a Planet of the Apes gorilla. I may have to make an "ape-pearance" as well if I am up to the task, to help him get into the costume and make the hair behave...It's a kid-sized foam latex gorilla appliance from Apemania that I put together and haired up on a spandex hood. I think I need to put in 3 more hours of work into the pullover to be able to call it a day.
